I work with a lot of leaders who feel chronically burned out. The best way to beat burnout is to get closure on the things that that holding you back or deprioritize them completely.

But sometimes, you also need to shake things off. This happens when you can’t close or depriotize—it sucks, but it happens. Or it happens when you do close or deprioritize things, but you still feel exhausted. Your brain doesn’t always know that it’s allowed to calm down. Getting physical gives it a kickstart and a boost (for more on that, I recommend the book Burnout by Emily and Amelia Nagoski.
